Although he really doesn't look all that well. His hair is all droopy and face flushed, but not for the right reasons. He'll be waiting for Tsukki in his bed, wrapped into a blanket.]

[In exactly 30 minutes, there's a knock at the door. Tsukki comes bearing two full bags. Also wearing a cloth mask with dinosaurs.

He hands Bokuto a pack of disposables.]

Hey.

Here, you need to wear one while I'm here. Unless you're eating or drinking.

[That heart is a lifesaver.

Bokuto sniffles when Tsukishima walks in and looks up from where he's rolled up in the blanket on the bed. That- that's a cute mask. He gratefully takes the disposable ones.]

Thanks, Tsukki [sniff] Yours is very cute...

[He puts it on immediately because he doesn't want Tsukki to get sick.]

Thanks. Mom made a bunch for me.

[He begins unpacking. Handing Bokuto a bottle of Gatorade and decongestant tablets.]

Did you already call off practice?

bokuto is the most sad, miserable person when he's sick, but he's calm ahah

[He almost wants to ask for one with little owls.

He grabs the bottle with Gatorade and tears up when Tsukki mentions practice.]

I did...! I wanna go, I'm not used to THIS. [Sitting in bed that is. But Sakusa threatened to slit his throat if he showed up at the gym with germs.]

Unlike Tsukki who pretends NOTHING IS WRONG until he coughs up a lung

[Silent thanks to Sakusa for sparing Tsukki that argument.

Something twists in his chest, seeing Bokuto so... droopy. And quiet. There might even be a sympathetic noise, as he cues up the microwave.]

[Everyone was thanking Sakusa for that, especially the coach.

He's one sick, little (beefy) owl. But he's obedient, takes the meds and several big gulps of the drink, then leans back onto the pillows.]

B-But I never got sick before. I sneezed and stuff but not... this. It's awful.

Yeah. It sucks. Do you want tea or oatmeal?

[Tsukki's not going to try and jolly Bokuto out of it. Not his style. And it's no good pretending that affects germs. Time and medicine does that. Not faking optimism.

He does squeeze Bokuto's shoulder, though.]

[If he weren't sick, he'd be circling around Tsukishima because his boyfriend is COOKING for him (it doesn't matter it's oatmeal, it's important that it's food).]

...think oatmeal won't make my stomach feel funny?

[He BADLY wants to grab Tsukki's hand though. Pull him into a hug. Smooch him. So sad he can't...]

[That gets a sharp look.]

[If Tsukki seems a bit more bristly than usual, well, he's worried. Also on guard. Just in case his touchy, walking-germ-factory of a boyfriend loses control.]

[And now Bokuto's alarmed.]

No!? [Pause to peek under the covers.] I mean, not yet. Should it be? I don't want it to be!

[And Bokuto is more panicky. This is what happens when the only thing you ever get in regards to sickness is a runny nose or sneezes. He barrels through those. AND! He is keeping his self-control! He doesn't want his amazing, caring boyfriend to get sick.]

Hey. Hey. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to scare you about it.

[Taking a deep breath, Tsukki forces the knots out of his face. He's here to help. Not wind up Bokuto even more than usual.]

Calm down and you can have it.

[He calms down after that because Tsukki said sorry. But- it's not his fault!]

Sorry I panicked... You got me something?

[Head tilt left. Then right.]
