Oh! Akaashi! [That's a bit different from what he said...] He was my teammate back in highschool. We went together to Volleyball Nationals twice in a row! Later I went to pro scene for volleyball and he went into book editing, but we keep in contact. Well... kept, in contact.
[He didn't see Akaashi in this place. While he misses his friend and wants to see him, it's kind of better he's not here.]
Yep! He's a very smart guy! Volleyball was something he was passionate about but not something he wanted for a career.
[He focuses on shifting the crane around as he talks-]
Mhm. I started taking my training very seriously in middle school [but no one else did so...] and continued into high school! After that, I went to the V-league. Took a bit of time, but I'm playing for division one now in a volleyball league. I hope to go to the Olympics one day, with our national team!
[He lowers the crane and when it lifts up, the doll doesn't fall off! He cheers loudly-] I GOT IT! [The crane drops it down and he picks it up, giving it to her with a grin.] For you! Owlexander!
Olympics? What's tha— [ Oh, but her attention is gone the moment the plush is out of the machine. ]
Oh my gosh! You got it! [ She takes it, closing the distance between them, so she can tip toe, pull him by the collar, and give him a kiss on the cheek, too. ] Thank you. He's so cute.
[His grin becomes even wider when she smooches his cheek. He's lightly flushed, but he's just happy overall- it's a good day today!] Hehe, I'm glad you like it! [It's a cute owl, everyone should like it!]
Olympics? OH! Olympics is a HUGE world tournament where countries gather the best people in sports and come to compete against each other! So like, my country Japan would compete against other countries like Brazil, Italy or America! It's the single, biggest tournament in the world!
You're— You're going to represent your country? That's such a big deal! Oh, I hope it happens!
[ When it happens, anyway. That's so exciting! Representing your country and upholding the laws and values is so important to Weiss. She cares a lot about her kingdom, so she imagines it's such a big honour to be part of the Olympics. ]

[Although, it's less of a law and military, but it's still a big deal because the entire world gets to see you and hear your name. And he's a sucker for attention. A lot of things changed about him since he was in high school but that was the one thing that remained the same.]

[ The space is big enough for her to put Owlexander beside the controls, so after tapping into the machine and giving it some Chroma, she begins to play the game. This may be her first time doing something like this, but she's seen Bokuto play, so she at least has a little background on how to use the joystick and the buttons.
Just a little more... She's taking her time in getting the right angle, and then the machine buzzes and says "TRY AGAIN!"— ]
[Bokuto was getting into it as well, peering through the glass and wanting to help her out. She did get a quick hang of it though, the joystick and the buttons-]

[When the machine goes back Bokuto blinks at it-]
Hey, hey! That's cheating! Thief! [He wishes shaking the machine will spit out the coins but alas. It's not a vending machine.]
[ >:( This has awoken Weiss' competitive side. She slaps the panel for Chroma to get the machine starting again. She's a lot quicker this time, but when she drops the crane, it doesn't completely get the dog! ]
[ It takes about three more tries after that. Weiss is very, very frustrated, but she starts jumping up and down when she finally gets the dog plush from the machine! ]
I did it! I won!
[ Well, Bokuto won, but still!!! She feels so triumphant! ]
[Bokuto lets out a loud 'whoop!' when the toy she was after finally lands into the box for her to retrieve. They weren't really competing at this; Bokuto would say they both won because they both managed to get the toys!]
